When the ScanMode is set to '1' which enables both Piezo and Linear stage movement for writing, is it not possible to write structures less than 300 um without Linear stage movement? When ScanMode is set to '1', the Piezo does not move but all movement is controlled by the Linear Stage alone?

In Scanmode 1 the lateral movements are performed by the motorized stage with a precision of 1 µm. The axial movement of the sample is still performed via the z-piezo. In Scanmode 0 all movements are performed via the piezo. Except if you move the stage explicitely via the MoveStage-commands. You can however switch between the different scanmodes within one gwl-scriptfile.

Note that the coordinates in Scanmode 1 are the absolute coordinates on the current sample, with the origin in the sample center. Negative lateral coordinates (x and y) are thus possible!

In Scanmode 0 the coordinates are relative coordinates to the current motorized stage position. All coordinates have to be positive and within the 300µm limit!
